Simple little plank simulations for your viewing pleasure. Made entirely in Blender 2.72b.

Every frame was rendered with Cycles (250 samples). Depending on the scene, render times were between 1.5 minutes and 4 minutes.

Check out Phymec's channel if you haven't already. His amazing work has inspired me and many others.
