In this video I will be installing and looking around the desktop of PakOS the latest edition dated 22-05-2021, I once had taken a look at this distro back in March 12th 2019, The Developer/Creator has since contacted me to let me know that he has recently released his latest edition and if I could take a look, I was very happy to accept his invitation. The distro is still based on Debian, Debian 10, and instead of using the LXDE desktop it's now using the LXQT desktop, however out of the box it's using a hybrid type LXQT with the XFCE Panel and Whisker menu. The Developers goal is to have an open source operating system that can specifically be used for the Pakistan community hence the name PakOS. There seems to be a lot of people within the Pakistan community using old hardware with outdated software and PakOS could be the answer to a more secure, modern and faster environment for general computer users. While using the distro I came across a few issues and I hope this will help provide some positive feedback for the developer in which it may help assist with a more refined and complete OS.
