But where to start? Our three experts break down the benefits and basics of strategic planning with practical advice for getting started.
In this session, you will learn: • Why Strategic Planning is essential for the public, private, and non-profit sectors • How to conduct a strategic plan in-house or with a facilitator • Why you should involve every level of your organization The Experts: • Dr. LoAnn Ayers, President and CEO, United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties • Dr. Rebekah Woods, President, Columbia Basin College • Zach Ratkai, Local Government Programs Director, Benton-Franklin Council of Governments Ask the Experts is a series of monthly workshops aimed at educating people on crucial business topics. Thanks to the generosity of STCU, the Ask the Experts program is offered free of charge to the entire Tri-Cities business community. Each session features two to three local professionals who have demonstrated expertise in the featured monthly topic and are willing to share what they have learned, as well as answer questions from participants. Ask the Experts is offered in hybrid format on fourth Tuesdays from 3 - 4:30 p.m.: in-person at the Bechtel Board Room at the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce building (with light refreshments), as well as live on Zoom. Eventually the session can be viewed on demand on YouTube. Questions will be fielded and served up to the experts by Paul Casey of Growing Forward Services, who will be facilitating the sessions. |
