After reaching the rendevous to find the fireflies are all dead, Joel (Pedro Pascal) receives even more bad news, his partner Tess (Anna Torv) has been infected and doesn't have long before she turns. She insists that Joel goes on with their mission of delivering Ellie (Bella Ramsey) to the fireflies by any means necessary before she confronts a horde of infected by herself.
