. One day after exiting the NDA alliance, JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar was sworn in as Chief Minister of Bihar for the eighth time on Wednesday, with the RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav taking oath as his Deputy. Nitish ended his alliance with the BJP on Tuesday, resigned as the coalition Chief Minister, only to stake claim again hours later. Soon after he was sworn in, Kumar said that the JD(U) had collectively decided to exit the alliance with the BJP.
