The Elephant Whisperers, a movie directed by Kartiki Gonsalves was watched on Netflix. This is a Tamil movie which is available in the English language. The movie was released on the 8th of Dec-22 and was shortlisted for the Oscars. The movie revolves around two baby elephants Raghu and Appu who were raised by the caretaker like their own children. There are issues like Global warming and Wildlife extinction but this one is above those informing short films which raise concerns. The movie has beautiful cinematography by Anand Bansal, Kartiki Gonsalves, Krish Makhija, & Karan Thapliyal which reinstates India as heaven with a disclaimer “only if we choose to care”. This has a story to tell that redefines emotions. The power of unspoken words is strongly conveyed by Raghu and Appu who express what they want and are resentful at times for logical reasons. The energy we put in to save a life multiplies with the size of the being and hence it's hard to understand what Bomman and Bellie, the lead characters have gone through. The music by Sven Faulconer is aligned with the scenes and what we feel. The editing is done by Douglas Blush and Sanchari Das Mollick who made sure that there are “no extras” so, the essence remains intact. In the end, BOAE says this movie can make you fall in love with nature especially the wildlife and the forest. All in all, a movie which should be watched by everyone, particularly kids to experience something in a living room without a vacation & condition to travel. #theelephantwhisperers #tamilmovie #sikhyaentertainment #kartikigonsalves #moviereviews #shortfilms #guneetmonga #blinkofaneye #oscarwinner #guneetmonga #kartikigonsalves #hollywood #documentary #nationalelephantday
