US military stryker vehicles have arrived in Latvia

More countries have answered President Volodymyr Zelensky's calls for more weapons to be sent to Ukraine. The US sent an aid package to Ukraine worth $2.5 billion (£2 billion) including armored vehicles and air defense systems. in addition to the 90 Stryker personnel carriers, the Pentagon is also pledging Kyiv an additional 59 Bradley armored vehicles and Avenger air defense systems, among other large and small munitions. Several European countries have also pledged new packages of their own including hundreds of missiles promised to Kyiv by the UK.
