It's finally here! Nissan X-Trail 2023 review: Can the new SUV topple Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX-5? |
|
Nissan has lagged its rivals lately, with the ageing X-Trail family SUV trailing good quality options like the 2023 Kia Sportage, Toyota RAV4, Hyundai Tucson and more.
But the new-generation 2023 X-Trail changes things up big time. A completely overhauled interior, revised 2.5-litre engine and a big uptick in safety and technology features have all elevated the new X-Trail. And this time around it will come with an ePower hybrid version too, already tested by CarsGuide. But pricing is up across the X-Trail range, and not by an insignificant amount. Thankfully, the standard features has also expanded with the pricing. But has Nissan done enough to ensure the X-Trail is once again considered a worthy competitor to those top-selling family SUVs? Tim Nicholson has tested the new X-Trail at the Australian media launch to see where the new model stands in the pecking order. #Nissan #NissanXtrail #review -- Check out our Nissan X-Trail hub: https://bit.ly/3AZDkIr Find more SUVs: https://bit.ly/3uePEAQ Visit our expert guide: https://bit.ly/3UW8tVr -- Timecodes: 00:00 Intro 00:42 Pricing and features 02:29 Design 03:34 Practicality 06:53 Under the bonnet 07:35 Driving 09:37 Efficiency 10:09 Safety 10:45 Ownership 11:10 Verdict -- CarsGuide - Go beyond the test drive Visit our website for News, Reviews, Advice and more: https://www.carsguide.com.au Subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/carsguide Like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/carsguide.australia Follow our Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/carsguideaus Follow our TikTok profile: https://www.tiktok.com/@carsguide Follow our Twitter profile: https://www.twitter.com/CarsGuide Follow our LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/carsguide-com-au |
