Kia Carnival 2024 review: Is this newly facelifted 8-seater the best people mover? |
![]() |
As far as people movers are concerned, the 2024 Kia Carnival is head and shoulders above the competition in Australia when it comes to sales. Its traditional rival, the Honda Odyssey, is no more, while new challengers have emerged in the form of the Hyundai Staria and LDV Mifa but are yet to make a dent on its immense popularity.
That said, the Carnival isn't relying on its past performance to see it through, as the fourth-generation model has just ushered in a significant midlife update that will introduce a 'self-charging' hybrid powertrain option for the first time – but not just yet. Also, the exterior and interior designs have been tweaked extensively. In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Andrew Chesterton gets behind the wheel of the facelifted Carnival in its petrol and diesel forms at its local media launch to find out if the Kia has once again reset the benchmark for the ultimate family car. #Kia #Carnival #Review -- Timecodes: 00:00 Intro 00:28 Pricing and features 02:33 Design 03:34 Practicality 05:06 Under the bonnet 05:35 Driving 08:10 Efficiency 08:31 Safety 09:00 Ownership 09:17 Verdict -- Read Andrew's full review: https://bit.ly/4aiTj37 Check out our Kia Carnival hub: https://bit.ly/3PMJEvd Find more People Movers: https://bit.ly/4a91FeK Visit our Family Guide: https://bit.ly/3BS40vC -- CarsGuide - Go beyond the test drive Visit our website for News, Reviews, Advice and more: https://www.carsguide.com.au Subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/carsguide Like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/carsguide.australia Follow our Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/carsguideaus Follow our TikTok profile: https://www.tiktok.com/@carsguide.com.au Follow our X profile: https://www.x.com/CarsGuide Follow our LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/carsguide-com-au |
