Communications and Information Minister Josephine Teo said partnerships between the Singapore government and relevant stakeholders are needed to come up with more ways to use 5G. However, as the adoption of 5G expands, Mrs Teo said there is potential for new cyber risks. She was speaking at a Singtel event announcing the expansion of its 5G network in the Republic and new use cases. Singapore is on track to offer nationwide 5G coverage by 2025.
