This is an unboxing and review of the Razer Blackshark Pro v2. A wireless version of Razer's headset that they claim to be an "eSports Wireless Gaming headset".

NOTE - the mic from this headset is used for the voice over so you know what it sounds like.

The Razer Blackshark Pro v2 offers a number of interesting features that include:
- A funky and curious design with a nicely expandable headband
- 24 hours of battery life
- Loud drivers
- Both wireless and 3.5mm wired connection options
- Large ear cups
- THX Audio options offering a fairly decent position

Highlights of this headset for me:
- Sound is good. Rich, good positional audio, nice tweaks in Razer Synapse and great for music, gaming and whatever
- 3.5mm and Wireless connections mean it's easy to use with most things
- Large earcups are comfortable to wear
- Large headband is perfect for big noggins
- No fuss design

Lowlights:
- Mic quality is seriously compressed
- No USB-C or Bluetooth connection options
- Design is rather in-your-face despite lack of RGB
- Earcup material is scratchy and uncomfortable
- Wireless signal disconnects easily over a short distance
