The Classics (Greek & Latin) BA is an interdisciplinary degree that allows you to explore aspects of the classical world through the development of your skills in Ancient Greek and Latin, and by reading ancient texts in their original form. No prior knowledge of either Ancient Greek or Latin is necessary as we offer innovative pathways to support your rapid acquisition of practical skills in these languages. You will develop and hone your language skills, reaching an advanced level of reading proficiency in Greek and Latin literature by Year 3.
