Walk in one of Lisbon's classical avenues: 5 de Outubro avenue, during a grey winter afternoon, in February 2021. We start at a recently built office tower in the area of Picoas and Sheraton Hotel, at the piazza of Jardim Augusto Monjardino. We pass by the maternity Alfredo da Costa, and make our way through the 5 de Outubro Avenue - the 5 October 1910 revolution was the overthrow of the centuries-old Portuguese Monarchy and its replacement by the First Portuguese Republic.
At the end of this walk, we go inside the train station of Entre-Campos, one of Lisbon's major train stations, where you'll hear Portuguese announcements of arriving trains.
Sit back, relax and enjoy this soothing winter walk during the Portuguese lockdown (Jan-April 2021) through Lisbon's deserted streets.
