"Tomorrow's future is today. Technology as well as its end- users move quickly and are constantly putting companies to the test every day. The modern consumer sets the bar high in countries like Norway, and many companies are far behind their consumer's expectations", says Lars Bratsberg, current Industry Head for Branding at Google Norway. Bratsberg's job at Google Norway is to evangelize to businesses the importance of online presence coupled with how to make the most out of the web, devices and technology.

Google has a set of principles for innovation that is central to their approach to repetitive innovation. While Google started out with search engine services, it now seeks out ways to combine various business disciplines with ground-breaking technology, changing how we live in the modern world. Google glass is an example of this approach in practice.

Bratsberg has broad experience in media, marketing and brand building in addition to leading creative agencies and a consultancy business specializing in brand and media strategies. Early on in his career, he was the architect and lead strategist in rebranding TVNorge. Since then, he has been voted Marketer of the Year in 2008 by the Marketing Association of Norway for both the DTT start-up company and for the launch of RiksTV while serving as the company's CMO. Bratsberg can be found on Twitter at @larsbratsberg and on Google + http://gplus.to/bratsberg.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
