This training and learning event was held at the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development on 13 July 2018 at the UN Headquarters in New York, USA.

The speakers provide an exposure to the concepts of alternative futures and strategic foresight, challenging conventional thinking and providing thought-provoking ideas for follow-up action. Apart from gaining a basic futures literacy, viewers have an opportunity to identify areas in which they could apply foresight approaches.
