So the this is my first animatic, starring my original character Karl. The plot line for this video is to point out how Karl was bound by prejudice that boys who cries are weaklings. As a child he was always the most clumsy kid, he got pick on by other kids his age due to his soft nature, he was stuck with the nicknames "Crybaby" that comes after the mocking laughters of other children. After many years passed by and with the new life as a highschool senior he eventually managed to get over his childhood trauma, unfortunately, he met one of the kid that used to pick on him (The blond girl). That triggered the trauma that he had tried so hard to come over and everything went downhill from that point. Throughout the last year of highschool, his grades drop, his friends left him and he closed off himself, it's like an endless pit for Karl. He finished highschool and went to his childhood house for the summer, while he was going through his old stuffs he came across a picture of him with another person. It was "Dreamer" a friend he made when he was in summer camp, the only person who offered a hand to help him when he fell (the race at the beginning). They decided to give eachother nicknames and using it instead of the real one's. but after that summer ended, they lost contacts. "Dreamer" was the one helping him at his lowest eventhough he was not around, that summer camp had a huge impact on Karl and made him pushed himself to be better. At the end we can see Karl preparing for his first day of university, he confidently looks into the mirror and erase all the negativity from the nickname he had, all the mocking laughters, all the judgemental look to left only the image of "Dreamer" saying his nickname as a beautiful memory. University is starting, but it's not the only thing that's awaiting him.
