video thumbnail
Somalia: Why You Should Visit soon, officially the Federal Republic of Somalia, is a country in the Horn of Africa. The country is bordered by Ethiopia to the west, Djibouti to the northwest, the Gulf of Aden to the north, the Indian Ocean to the east, and Kenya to the southwest. Somalia has the longest coastline on Africa's mainland.
The tourism business in Somalia was receiving attention thanks to its numerous historical monuments, beaches, waterfalls, mountain ranges, and national parks, but once the civil war broke out in the early 1990s, the Ministry of Tourism ceased operations. It resumed operations in 2000. Here are the 10 reasons to visit Somalia.
Somali food is enjoyable. It's a type of African cuisine that has its origins in the Horn of Africa. It's been around for a long time in Somalia and neighboring nations.
Somali spaghetti has evolved to meet Somali desires and traditions, with noodles topping diced tomatoes, onions, and jalapeno peppers.
Somalia's beaches, which run parallel to the Indian Ocean in the east. And are protected by a coral reef that spans from Mogadishu to the Kenyan border in the south, run parallel to the Indian Ocean in the east. White sand beaches and dazzling blue oceans provides a perfect picture of paradise.

A French researcher discovered Laas Geel Cave in 2002, which was formed around 9000 years ago. The cave's image is just stunning. It is one of the country's most visited locations. The cave paintings at Laas Geel are regarded to be among of Africa's most vibrant rock art. Geel's rock art for centuries, but it wasn't until 2002 that it was brought to international attention. A mission returned to Laas Geel in November 2003. And a team of experts conducted a full analysis of the paintings in their prehistoric environment.
