This is a remake version based on the story and film "Johnny Lingo" (1969) by Patricia McGerr. A Fifth Wave adaptation of Johnny Lingo. On a tropical island, an orphan boy named Tama is "cursed" by his tribe and finds comfort in fellow outcast: Mahana, a fiesty girl shunned for her ragged appearance.
