Dev is an upcoming film, directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar, that has Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh playing the lead actors. Apart from the leads, Dev also features Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, RJ Vigneshkanth, and Amrutha in important roles.
It has music by Harris Jayaraj, while Velraj is cranking the camera. The teaser and songs looked neat and clean, and was well received by the audiences. Now, the makers have released the trailer of the film. It is 2 minutes 10 seconds long, and has quite a few interesting shots.

It has done well enough to increase the expectations for the film. Dev is slated for a release on February 14, on occasion of Valentine's day. The team had approached actor Suriya, who is Karthi's brother to release the trailer, who did it by tweeting on Twitter. This venture is bankrolled by Prince Pictures.
