Holger Rune takes on Swiss Indoors in Basel 2022 playing in the ATP 500 event!

Holger faced Ugo Humbert, winning the match 6/4 6/2 advancing Holger to the Semi Final, where he will face Arthur Rinderknech.

Holger Rune began playing tennis at the age of six in Denmark. Early on, he showed exceptional abilities, and his drive to improve was unrivaled. When he was just 11 years old, Holger won his first TennisEurope tournament in Paris. He went on to win the European Championship in 2017 - a title he shares with players like Novak Djokovic.

Holger became the world's number one junior in 2019 at the age of 16, becoming the youngest player in history to win the Roland Garros Junior and ITF Masters finals. Winning four Challenger titles in 2021 and rising more than 1000 places in the ATP rankings in 15 months, he ranked 103 in 2021.

In 2022, he won ATP titles in Munich and Stockholm ranking him within the top 25 tennis players in the world.
