Learn in 5: ADHD in adults with recurrent depression |
|
Learn in 5 is a new video series from the Wolfson Centre for Young People's Mental Health. Take five minutes to learn about an area of youth mental health research from one of the Wolfson Centre's experts.
In this video, Vicky Powell discusses her research that aimed to understand how common attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is in recurrently depressed adults. Vicky's research is the first of its kind to look specifically at ADHD in adults with recurrent depression and her work focused on women in midlife whose recurrent and impairing depression may mask underlying ADHD symptoms.
