The Sole E95 Elliptical has been updated this year to include some really nice features. It has a 13.3” touchscreen that includes onboard workout programs and streaming apps like Netflix and Hulu. What’s really nice is that the content doesn’t require purchasing another subscription to access them. All you have to do with the apps is log into your account for each and start streaming. So, on the E95, you’ll never have to worry about being bored on an elliptical.

The Sole E95 is a heavy-duty elliptical that weighs 242 lbs and is hard to move. There is a built-in handle at the rear to lift in order to engage the front transport wheels, but with a machine of this size and weight, it’s best to place it where you’ll use it at all times. It has a steel frame that definitely contributes to the weight, with 3 floor stabilizers to support the base. Under each stabilizer are 2 feet. The rear 4 feet are adjustable to help prevent any rocking. We wish the front 2 were adjustable as well, but the E95 is a solid and stable elliptical.

The 27 lb flywheel also makes this machine hearty. This is a front-drive elliptical so the flywheel is mounted under the console to provide extra stability and promote a smooth pedal stroke. The pedals are oversized and adjustable to help prevent foot numbness. They move in a standard elliptical pattern that is mainly horizontal. The moving handles move this way too, in conjunction with the pedals. This way, you’ll get a full-body low-impact workout on the Sole E95. The stationary handles are great for lower-body targeted training and for getting on and off the elliptical more easily.

The E95 offers 20 levels of adjustable resistance and 20 levels of adjustable incline to provide tension and target your muscles differently. You’ll just need to factor in your ceiling height to use the incline function. The 20” long stride length isn’t adjustable and is great for most people, however, it might be a little long for shorter users around 5’0”, like me.

Overall, the Sole E95 Elliptical is a really quiet, durable machine that should work in most homes that have the space for it. It can handle a lot of use and is a great option if you have multiple users in your household.
