Italy: organisation and work culture are not as strong, from my experience people at my age find it harder to find a full-time job, and more likely to do an internship rather than having a job with a permanent contract. And actually, this was one of the main reasons why I decided to leave Italy and move to the UK. A big difference that no one talks about is that in Italy very often you have "ferie" which is kind of the equivalent of days off, but they’re set by the gov like public holidays and also, there are periods when the company shuts down completely and lets everyone go on holiday. And this something that doesnt exist in UK UK: people start working at a younger age, everything is very well-organised, you know how many holidays per year you have, benefits, etc 6.
