This is a clip from first of 12 episodes in a LEGO MOC series I'm calling 22-Ville, where I build up my new 2022 LEGO City full of unique and colorful houses for every LEGO Series 22 CMF.

Based on my brief LEGO review of this LEGO minifigure, the LEGO Forest Elf (AKA the LEGO acorn kid, LEGO acorn boy, LEGO Mushroom kid, or LEGO Mushroom boy) is my #1 favorite of the new 2022 Collectible Minifigure Series! There are so many adorable elements to the figure that I just had to make an equally adorable mushroom house, inspired by the classic Smurfs mushroom house design. I watched a lot of Smurfs cartoons and played the Smurfs Village app as a kid, so this was very nostalgic for me.

Hopefully someday we get LEGO Smurf Sets and LEGO Smurf minifigures, but for now, my freeform studs-on-all-sides LEGO building techniques really took this LEGO MOC (my own creation) to the next level! The build has a fully-detailed interior, and check out the full video to see the LEGO city layout it's located in... with a fully-functional model train / LEGO train loop running through the LEGO city!

I also had to steal some LEGO acorn pieces from the LEGO Chip and Dale minifigures (from the LEGO Disney Minifigures Series 2) for the implementation into the city, but I don't think they're too upset about it. I then covered the LEGO forest in my LEGO City with a bunch of custom LEGO trees, rocks, plants, and mushrooms, that my LEGO Mushroom MOC towers over.

Apparently, the new 2022 LEGO Minecraft set 21179 is literally called "The Mushroom House (whose design seems to be inspired by many popular Minecraft Building Tutorials from creators such as Grian), but I tried to differentiate this build from the official LEGO set by giving it an extra bit of character, like circles that are normally illegal in Minecraft. Giant big mushrooms are found in the Roofed Forest and Mooshroom Island biomes in Minecraft.

Finally, there's the issue of LEGO Mario. That creepy LEGO Mario keeps trying to eat the Forest Elf's Mushroom Pal because he thinks it's a LEGO Mario Super Mushroom. Funny LEGO Mario... when will he learn! Perhaps he will learn in LEGO Mario 2022.
