Golf Saudi CEO Issues STATEMENT On LIV Golf's Majors..
Welcome back to Sporting Focus. Golf Saudi CEO Majed Al Sorour was reported in the New Yorker this week suggesting that LIV Golf would create their own majors, should its members be banned from competing, although insists he has the "utmost respect" for those currently in the calendar. In a statement on social media, Sorour said: "I had a casual conversation with a New Yorker reporter at LIV's Boston event a few weeks ago, during which I expressed my frustration at the unfortunate blackballing of LIV Golf players by the PGA Tour. “Best I’ve felt in three years. And the golf swing is starting to come around. I’m excited. Kind of sucks we only have this event and Miami left, and a bunch of time off,” said Koepka. Saudi-funded LIV has prompted a deep split in golf by luring top players with enormous signing fees and $25 million purses, threatening the established tours. The US PGA Tour has banned the LIV rebels, who include Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson among a clutch of major-winners, from its events, and a suspension from Europe’s DP World Tour is on hold pending a court challenge. #GolfSaudiCEO #LIVGolf #Golf Related Videos: Golf Saudi CEO issues statement on LIV Golf creating its own majors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpgT38aKoek Why the LIV golf series is so controversial - BBC News https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuGBJOq_aCI Besties despised girl's BF as a cleaner, but never thought he graduated from the top 1 university https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eO5twJkWfE |
