The final battle in Avengers: Endgame brought back some of the MCU’s favorite superheroes and answered so many questions moviegoers had from Avengers: Infinity War.

Fans were relieved to see Black Panther, The Winter Soldier, Spider-Man, and the rest of the fallen heroes from Infinity War resurrected just in time for one last stand against Thanos and his army.

But not every superhero or associate of superheroes participated in the final battle of Endgame. Doctor Strange was right to ask Wong whether they brought back everybody. Here’s why we didn’t see these characters in Avengers: Endgame.
