Half Moon Bay became the second mass shooting tragedy for California within the span of days, after a gunman opened fire on several farmworkers at two different locations. Chunlin Zhao, 66, is suspected of killing seven people and critically injuring an eighth person Monday after two shootings at California Terra Garden — it was previously known as Mountain Mushroom Farm — and nearby Concord Farms. On Thursday, NBC affiliate KNTV reported that Zhao, who now faces seven murder and one attempted murder charges, admitted to shooting his former co-workers during a jailhouse interview.
