In episode two of The History Hut we continue our discussion of Chinese history, moving from the Tang dynasty to the Sung dynasty and the groups that would threaten its power.

The Tang dynasty ends with the rise of a general who seizes control and establishes the Sung dynasty. As this is happening, there are three groups massing in the north (the Liao, the Hsi Hsia, the Jin), which would give the Sung trouble as time passes.
