Restoring the wetlands on the Waikato River from the Huka Falls to the Atiamuri Dam by growing harakeke and other water plants to cleanse the river and encourage lost taonga like the tuna, koura and other related water life to return to their their natural habitat. It's a new project by the Te Arawa River Iwi Trust.
