The unique perspective was recorded by a WCNC Charlotte weather camera mounted nearly 1,500 feet above the ground on the station's television transmitter tower. The video has been sped up 1,500x times to create a timelapse of the storm's motion. The National Weather Service concluded the storm produced two EF1 tornadoes and extensive damaging wind.
