Breaking barriers, navigating, and doing business in South Africa as an expatriate.

As a Zimbabwean, having studied in South Africa, gaining her work experience, and eventually starting a business in SA, she will be sharing her insights on how to navigate the business world in SA as a young expat and African woman. How does one break the barriers created either by the legal systems in place for doing business in SA as an expat, or societal expectations for young
African women and mothers who want to make it as successful entrepreneurs? She will share this and so much more and leave you understanding that doing business and investing in SA is still a great opportunity for young aspiring entrepreneurs and investors, despite the existing challenges (legal systems, economic and/or political). She is the Managing Director and co-founder of Prestige Immigration Services based in Pretoria SA. She is a South African Admitted Attorney, with more than 15 years of SA immigration law experience. With a master’s degree in international law, having worked with many clients in the immigration space over the years and being exposed to the different legal systems of the world, she is very passionate about migration laws, not only in SA but the world over. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
