The Truth About Stoic Philosophy: Is It Really The Ancient Recipe For Success? |
|
Stoicism is a 2000-year-old ancient branch of Hellenistic philosophy, having become very popular in the last couple of years on the internet, in the self-help industry, and even in Silicon Valley. However, just like any other ideology, movement, or religion, stoicism is not perfect. This video aims to cover the basics of Stoic philosophy while mentioning its possible downsides and potholes you might fall into. I firmly believe that meaningful discussion and critical thinking are extremely important and useful for both the individual and society.
