Chronologically, the book of Daniel links the time of the kings in 2 Chronicles to the restoration of Jerusalem in the book of Ezra. It begins with the first Babylonian captivity, and in our first flight over Daniel, we witness prophetic history that was foretold by the prophets who preceded Daniel, carried out by Nebuchadnezzar, and orchestrated by God for His purpose.
