Several hundred soldiers from the European military force in Bosnia (EUFOR-ALTHEA) participate in the 'Quick Response 2022' annual exercise. The mission's mandate expires on November 3 and should be renewed by the UN Security Council by then. Moscow had expressed reservations about the force in May, notably because of its reinforcement after the invasion of Ukraine.
