Optimizing for a Better Life | Annastiina Hintsa | TEDxBucharest

video thumbnail
Annastiina shows us in this insightful talk how a better life leads to better performance. It’s all about building the foundation, not about something you achieve or maintain on the side and she challenges us to better understand how we can live our life purposely but also healthier.

If you were to ask yourself "What are you optimizing for, and
are you headed the right direction?" what would your answer be? What’s the
one small thing you could do for yourself, starting today? During her career, Annastiina has closely observed – and also personally experienced – the challenges relating to sustainable performance in an uncertain, high pressure, fast paced global context. After working in top management consulting and experiencing burnout, she was faced with profound questions of balance and meaning.

She found answers in a transformation that involved running 250km ultra-races in deserts, and later joined Hintsa Performance as an entrepreneur, helping people unlock a life of meaning and sustainable high performance. Her clientele ranges from Formula 1 drivers to female entrepreneurs in rural Guatemala, top CEOs and leading politicians. annastiina.hintsa@hintsa.com

She is interested in what it will take for companies and individuals to thrive in the fourth industrial revolution, the role of women and millennials in shaping the future of work, and the business case for wellbeing. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
