Celtic were runners up to Porto in the UEFA Cup back in 2003 after a thrilling final in Seville. The winners followed up the next season by winning the Champions League final in 2004 against Monaco. Porto won the match 3–0, with goals from Carlos Alberto, Deco and Dmitri Alenichev.
