🚪🐏🐑Bethy offers a lesson for kids on John 10:9 which says, "I am the door. If anyone anyone enters through me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture." (ESV) This is one of Jesus' I AM statements and definitely worthy of paying attention to. 🚪🐏🐑___________________________________________________________________________________

2) What does it mean that Jesus is the Door?
3) In this lesson, who are we compared to?
4) How do we go in through Jesus (as the door?)
5) What do we need to be saved from?

7) How are we saved?
8) Is a relationship with Jesus just about Heaven? or is it about our life now too?
9) Are you trusting in Jesus?
10) Are there any areas that you need help to trust in Jesus more?

Here are the instructions for this lesson so you can reproduce it for your kids or class.

Materials:
-Your Bible bookmarked to John 10: 9
-Some little blocks to make the sheep fold
-a toy shepherd
-some toy sheep

Directions:
-Prepare the toys to play with in the lesson with the kids to show what a sheepfold might have looked like.
-Read the Passage, John 10:9. If you have time, Read John 10:7-10. Talk about what it means to go through Jesus as your door.
-There are other false teachings and false hopes out there. If the kids are old enough, you can also talk about what it would mean to go through one of these false doors.
-Remember to end with the abundant life we have in Jesus!
-Ask the questions from the lesson and get your class to engage by responding to what they learned. Particularly, that they would be able to apply these truths to their lives.
