Liverpool Football Club is one of the most iconic football clubs of all time and the most successful English team in the history of European Competitions.
They have achieved the highest of highs in their history, but by 2005, they were a shadow of what they used to be. Many would agree that they had nowhere near the best team in Europe. Despite this, they managed to win the 2005 Champions League (In very dramatic fashion, might I add). So that leaves us with a few questions: how did they do it and how good were they before 2005?
