Bruce Lee the greatest martial arts pop icon and actor, teacher, and philosopher was born to Chinese parents in the USA. The family returned to Hong Kong where Bruce grew up acting with his father in Hong Kong films as a child artist. In his teens he learned Wing Chun style of martial arts to deal with the street gangs of Hong Kong. After making animosity with gangsters, his parents sent him to the USA to stay with his sister. He waited tables and, ran small-time martial arts schools, studied philosophy, and performed in championships. His movements werelightning-fast and his two fingers push-ups and one-inch punch became famous in a martial arts championship where he was noticed by Hollywood. He developed his own blend of martial arts and philosophy in his technique Jeet Kune Do. He made blockbuster Hong Kong martial arts films like Fist of Fury, The Big Boss, and Enter the Dragon. He got big fame in Hollywood and died at a young age of 32. He was the first cultural bridge between the East and the West and the biggest action star.
