Mark Zuckerberg allegedly cried during a meeting with facebook staff after losing 30 billion dollars in 1 day. Meta, facebooks parent company lost 237 billion dollars in the largest ever one day drop in stock market history and as a result mark Zuckerberg lost 30 billion dollars from his networth, knocking him out of the top 10 richest people in the world.
Zuckerberg told his employees that the drop was due to a weak revenue forecast as the company faces an 'unprecedented level of competition' from TikTok and told them to focus on video products as a result.
He held a company wide meeting that same day, where he was wearing glasses and appearing red eyed, and warned he might start crying because he scratched his eyes. But to me this shows losing 30 billion really got to him or a really awkward time to get pink eye.
