For 27 years, Jimmy Ball has helped CCPS students grow academically, artistically and athletically. His ability to motivate and mentor students is one of the many reasons he was named the 2020 Charles County Public Schools Teacher of the Year. North Point High School junior Renee Young applied the full court press on Mr. Ball during an interview to find out why he become an art teacher, why he thinks athletics are important for student growth and why he is proud of being a homegrown product.
