Secretary-General Zwelinzima Vavi rejects SAFTU plans to place him on suspension: Mac Chavalala

The South African Federation of Trade Unions Secretary-General, Zwelinzima Vavi, has rejected plans by the federation to place him on precautionary suspension because of his alleged breach of policies.
SAFTU has reportedly asked its founding member to give reasons as to why he shouldn't be placed under precautionary suspension while an investigation on his conduct takes place.
In a letter reportedly addressed to Vavi, SAFTU president Mac Chavalala has reportedly said that there are a number of transgressions on Vavi's part that are tantamount to acts of misconduct and misbehavior, which he said warranted possible disciplinary action. Mac Chavalala joins us now.
