Kapoor & Sons (Since 1921) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy-drama film directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film stars an ensemble cast including Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak, Rajat Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, and Alia Bhatt.The film is scheduled for release on 18 March 2016.
In earlier 2015, Karan Johar announced his next film, titled Kapoor & Sons, which will feature Alia Bhatt with Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan as the lead roles. Johar said in an interview "We have a very stylish star cast." The movie revolves around two brothers played by Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan. Rishi Kapoor will be playing grandfather of the male leads.
