An ocean is a huge body of salt water.
The oceans cover over 71% of the earth's surface.
They contain 98% of all the water on earth.
There is 1 WORLD OCEAN. It is divided into 5 main areas:
1. Pacific Ocean
2. Atlantic Ocean
3. Indian Ocean
4. Southern Ocean
5. Arctic Ocean

PACIFIC OCEAN
Biggest ocean of the world.
It covers more than 30% of the earth's surface.
It had Americas to the East.
Asia and Australia to the West.

ATLANTIC OCEAN
Second biggest ocean of the world.
It covers more than 20% of the earth's surface.
It is located between the continents of Americas, Europe and Africa.
It's a home for many sea animals.

INDIAN OCEAN
It is located between Africa, Asia and Australia.
It has many large and busy ports.

SOUTHERN OCEAN
It surrounds the South Pole and Antarctica.
It's a home forany Emperor Penguins.

ARCTIC OCEAN
It is located along the North Pole.
It's a home for many Polar bears.
