We all know Marvel’s Thor is loosely based on the Thor of Norse Mythology, but how loosely? Ask a Pagan! In this video I explore some of the major similarities and differences between the character of Thor in Marvel’s “Thor: Ragnarok” and in more traditional Norse Mythology.

We take a look at Thor’s personality, his parentage, and how his story ends. Finally, we learn about Baldr, one of Ragnarok’s only survivors, whose character has been enmeshed with Thor’s in the Marvel universe.
