Story: Peranbu story revolves around a life a taxi driver (Mammotty), who stays out of city with his physically challenged daughter named Paapa (Sadhna), who gets into puberty. The family stays away from the city to avoid having a harmful effect from the city. But even there they felt that it is not safe. Amudhavan's wife Vijayalakshmi (Anjali) finds love in another person, leaving him with Paapa, who he avoided right from her birth.
