In this week's episode of The Royal Tea the panel discuss Meghan Markle's latest pointed comments about being called 'difficult', what on earth the royal family should do with a problem like Prince Andrew, how The Crown is a 'malicious' slight on the living members of the royal family and finally whether Mike Tindall is ruffling a view royal feathers with his appearance on I'm A Celebrity.

Sarah Hewson is joined by royal commentator and biographer Angela Levin, eyewitness to the attempt to egg the King The Sun's Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson and TalkTV regular and royal commentator Afua Hagan.

The panel start the show with an eyewitness account of how the King barely flinched as four eggs were launched at him by a member of the crowd in York. They go on to discuss the close-to-the-bone new episodes of The Crown and how it will be impacting the royal family and Angela reveals Prince Harry told her to watch the Netflix series when she went to interview him once, hinting the Duke of Sussex has an account himself.

The next discussion involved Prince Andrew and how he will be reacting to the news that his accuser Virginia Giuffre has dropped her case against his US Lawyer Alan Dershowitz saying she 'may have made a mistake'. The panel debate whether there will ever be a road back but agree that King Charles will block any attempt from Andrew to return to royal life and that he's lost his biggest ally in the Queen.

The debate moves on to Meghan's latest podcast episode when Angela says it is time for Meghan to be quiet and stop using 'hanging on to' her royal title to promote herself and the series. Afua disagrees saying that Meghan platformed some very impressive women and gave them room to tell their stories.
