Kaizer Chiefs defeated Bamenda 1-0 in the CAF Champions League on Sunday afternoon in Limbe, Cameroon.

The first half was cagey, with both sides failing to register meaningful shot on target. Bamenda did not trouble Kaizer Chiefs that much.

The second half posed a small threat to Chiefs as Bamenda created some opportunities but nothing that Khune could not deal with. Kaizer Chiefs opened the scoring when Manyama’s cross located Matoho alone in the box and he easily tapped in the ball.

The home side had an opportunity to equalize when they were given a penalty in the last minute of the game but Itumeleng Khune saved the spotkick. Chiefs coming out of the encounter as eventual winners.
