![]() |
In my company's quest to develop a better social media analytics technology, we discover some rather interesting changes in social behavior over time. Some are funny, some are absurd, and some are rather profound in their effect on what is known about us as people. We take a quick voyage through examples of each, and look at the effects that these have on individuals and the culture.
Robert Guidry is currently CEO of SC2 Corp, a technology firm specializing in social media analytics systems and merging technologies. He has successfully held CEO positions in tech and in retail, is a recognized leader in developing innovative defense, manufacturing and banking technologies. In his other life, he is a Colonel in the US Army Reserve, currently Commander of 3rd Brigade, 75th Division, and has done combat service in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Central America as reconnaissance pilot, special operations officer, and a senior strategist. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx |
