The Arnold Press vs the Regular seated shoulder press. Which one is better? the Arnold press is going to be the more sub-optimal movement because of the rotation at the bottom of the movement. The more mechanical tension you can place on your shoulder the more growth that will occur. The rotational movement in the Arnold press will limit how much you can load which will lead to less tension. So the regular seated shoulder press is going to be the better movement because you will be able to produce more output. the more output = the more load = the more shoulder growth. But at the end of the day preference matters, so if you prefer the Arnold press then just do that, but I wouldn't do both in the same shoulder workout. The Arnold press and the dumbbell seated shoulder press work the same muscle groups.
